September 14th, 2013 - 33rd Annual Fall Civil War Mosby Bus Tour
Please arrive at 8a.m. to sign in. The bus will leave Truro Parish (10520 Main Street, Fairfax City) promptly at 8:30a.m. We will be driving through Fairfax, Loudoun and Fauquier Counties, with a special visit at Welbourne and much more! We hope to arrive back around 5:30p.m.
Tour Leaders will be Don Hakenson, Eric buckland & Gregg Dudding
Special Guest will be noted Mosby Historian Tom Evans.
Price: $65 for members of the Stuart-Mosby Historical Society or $75 for non-members.

October 2, 2013 - Battle of Sharpsburg Camp #1582, Sons of Confederate Veterans, Wednesday, October 2, 2013, 7:00 P.M., Sharpsburg Town Hall, 106 East Main Street, Sharpsburg, MD. Local Historian and Tour Guide, Mr. Mark Brugh will be giving a ghost tour of Sharpsburg. Tour will start in front of the Sharpsburg Town Hall and is open to the public. Members and guest of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and United Daughters of the Confederacy are free, all others are $10.00, which will be payable in cash before the tour. Aug. 21-24, 2014 - ATTENTION! Coming in 2014, four (4) days of honoring our nations’ heroes! On August 21st through the 24th, the city of Pigeon Forge will have a Freedom Celebration! They will be Welcoming Home Vietnam Veterans and honoring ALL who have served America. 2014 will feature a grand parade from light #4 with a welcome home crowd lining the sideways and honoring the parade as they drive by. The parade will end at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center which will be hosting the 5th Annual Smoky Mountain Relic Show extravaganza on August 23rd and 24th. There will be a VVA Color Guard Competition, Military Vehicle Restoration Competition, Military Memorabilia Show and special coupon packages for the entire weekend.
