Help Support Civil War Education

Support Civil War Education
One hundred and fifty years ago, commitment to the values upon which this nation was founded—freedom, duty, traditions, and dreams—drove a generation of Americans to take arms against one another. Understanding the nature of that conflict helps us understand these core American values. Knowing more about the American Civil War makes us better American citizens.
Now, as school children across America go back to the classroom, the Civil War Trust is asking you to help a new generation of Americans learn more about this defining period in our history. In addition to supporting current education programs like our traveling trunks, curriculum, and teacher institutes, your donation will help us establish a field trip fund. This new program will sponsor battlefield visits for students across America, helping them encounter American values on the fields where the fate of our nation was decided.
