The following information is about Frank Mushaney and his family. Frank was killed May 26, 1863 at our family farm when they burned William 'Old Man' Gabbert's (45 years old) home. This was after the Federal Militia burned Nevada and were on their way home. Frank rode with the Gabbert Guerrilla Command. After Frank and others were killed the Gabbert Women (Lady Bushwhackers) cleaned them and buried them in a secret grave at the Cemetery.
