VA Flaggers - I-95 Battle Flag Updates

Electrical work was completed last month and the Fredericksburg I-95 Memorial Battle Flag is now LIT for 24/7 visibility...

Last night, we drove up to Fredericksburg to meet with the men of the Stafford Light Artillery, SCV Camp 2247 to thank them for their support.  We are pleased to announce a partnership with the camp, in which they have volunteered to cover the cost of the electric bill for the lights at the Fredericksburg I-95 Memorial Battle Flag Site, and help with site maintenance and upkeep!  We are thrilled at the opportunity to work with these fine Compatriots, and look forward to many more such partnerships as we move forward with more flag projects.

Last month, we ran this ad in the Lexington News-Gazette:

We received quite a few serious calls, and are close to finalizing arrangements for (at least one) Memorial Battle Flag in Lexington.  Details will be forthcoming, but our goal is to raise enough money to have the project completed before the Lee-Jackson state holiday in January.

We are excited about the prospects in Lexington, as well as other flag projects, across the Commonwealth and beyond, that are in various stages of development.

Thank you all for your continued support!
