2015 Stephen Dill Lee Institute in Dallas Texas

February is fast approaching. Please make your plans for this years Stephen Dill Lee Institute in Dallas. The Texas Division of the SCV proudly hosts our event this year. We are also pleased to introduce Kathleen Mayes Hines of Southern Methodist University as a speaker who will tell you the true story of women in the South before, during and after the War Between the States.

The Stephen Dill Lee Institute is pleased to announce that in 2015, we will be heading southwest to Dallas, Texas. The Institute will be held at the Double Tree Hotel  on February 6-7, 2015 and will be hosted by the Texas Division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. The hotel is located near the world famous Galleria shopping center. This is the first time we have held the Institute in the southwest and hope to have a whole new group of Institute followers. As you know, there is nothing to compare with our Institute and it's special brand of high intellectual content coupled with fun times.

The Double Tree is accessible to Love Field airport as well as Dallas-Ft Worth airport and within minuites of attractions such as the Bush Presidential Library and Dealey Plaza, site of the assassination of President John F.Kennedy. The City of Ft. Worth and it's historic stockyards are also in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.

The evening of Friday February 6 is special. The Texas Division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans will host our annual Meet the Speakers Party. Our book vendors will be there and it will allow our attendees to personally meet our speakers in an informal atmosphere  The Texas Division will also present an entertaining speaker.

The actual Stephen Dill Lee Institute begins Saturday morning in the hotel. Breakfast, lunch and a banquet that evening will be included in your registration fee.
