ANNUAL GENERAL ROBERT E. LEE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION AND PARADE


ALL ARE WELCOME

SATURDAY, JANUARY 18, 2014

PARADE BEGINS A 10:30 am

AND CEREMONY BEGINS AT 11:00 AM

THIS A PUBLIC EVENT FOR EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO HONOR ONE OF THE SOUTH'S GREATEST GENERALS.

THERE WILL BE PERIOD DRESSED SOLDIERS MARCHING IN THE PARADE ALONG WITH MUSKET AND CANNON STAUES FOLLOWING THE CEMEMONY AT THE OLD CAPITOL BLDG.

The Gen. Robert E. Lee Birthday Commemorative is scheduled for Jan. 18, 2014 at the Old Capitol Building, 201 E. Greene St. Milledgeville, Ga.

The parade route will start at 10:30 a.m.at the Old Governor's Mansion on W. Hancock Street and proceed through downtown to the Old Capitol on East Greene Street.

The speaker this year is Jack Marlar who will speaking about General Lee's 1863 Battles and Campaigns.
