Stewart Stone Dedication in Columbia, Missouri

I wanted to share the attached program for the William Robinson Stewart Stone Dedication in Columbia, Missouri on 23 August 2014. The Col. James J. Searcy Camp #1923 did a great job and the stone looks excellent! I love our Guerrilla and Confederate History but am most proud when monuments or stones are placed remembering our men. I love the small confederate flags that decorate our graves on Memorial Day. For many years at Forest Hill Cemetery Confederate Flags decorated Shelby's grave and many of the Guerrillas graves. The last couple of years there have been none.

This was a great project and thanks to all of those involved. Russ Devenney and I were in Irving, Texas at a Sons of the American Revolution District Meeting and unfortunately missed the ceremony. I plan to take a trip down to visit in the near future.
