Subject: Confederate Memorial Day 2013

Attached is the proposed program for Confederate Memorial Day 2013 for approval.  It is basically the same as previous years.  There is one change from the proposal that Jim Beckner sent me.  Jim had the Children of the Confederacy meeting in the residence, obviously, because I'm living there now, I changed the location for their meeting to the chapel.  I also added an optional historical program at the end of the day.  It is a power point program with music and video clips presented by me on the last days of Stonewall Jackson and the Battle of Chancellorsville. I include tie ins to some of the men who lived at the Confederate Home and fought in the battle.  I thought this being the 150^th anniversary of the battle and death of Jackson it might be of some special  interests to the folks attending Confederate Memorial Day.

Confederate Memorial Day May 5th Woodlawn Cemetery Independence Missouri

Hughes Camp will have Confederate Memorial day at Woodlawn Cemetery Sunday May 5th at 2:00.  Bring some chairs and join us for this observance of the Confederate soldiers buried in this cemetery in Jackson county.
